From April to July, Aurelie d'Incau and her mother, Therese Besenius, are in residence at Kulturfabrik in Esch, working on their joint project Liewen - an autoethnographic work combining knitting, embroidery, tapestry, installation, storytelling, film and performance art, and focusing on Besenius's cancer diagnosis and the emotions, stories and acts of care and resilience that have come out of it.
You can read an article about the project in Tageblatt.
There'll be an open exhibition at Kulturfabrik on the evening of the 5th of June.
